This morning when I try to open Family Historian I get this message..

Error while unpacking program, code LP6. Please report to author.

I tried turning off my Kaspersky Protection but still got the same message.

I have been running this program for many years and have never had this problem before.

Any ideas anyone?

Your best option is to contact the authors Calico Pie via their Support Centre

Thanks all for your replies, however I did a reboot and it showed an error on Drive C which it then repaired.
Now I can open FH once again.

Sorry I panicked and posted too soon before checking other things.

It might be a good time to check that all your backups are up to date - disk errors are not common these days, so may be an early sign of trouble to come...

I regularily back up all my stuff to external drives so no worries there.

The problem with the C Drive seemed to be caused when I was using a USB stick, file explorer crashed and when I rebooted yesterday it did a repair, but it also did another repair today when I rebooted again after problems loading FH.

So hopefully not a sign that C drive is on it's way out and just a software error.
