* Out of Memory Error - Reports

I have read several posts regarding "Out of Memory" error message and did the suggested fixes: I deleted the Thumbcache.dat file and changed the option under Tools/Preferences/Advance/Thumbnail Images/Load when needed. I have also cleaned my local harddrive. All my data is stored on my external harddrive.

I am getting this error message when running reports. If I don't get the error message, the report is blank.

Anne - could you give us a bit more background please. This was a common issue with early versions of FH7, but should be much less frequent now. Have you upgraded to FH7.0.9? How big is your database? All reports, or just potentially large ones?

Yes I'm on V7.0.9

I am new to Family Historian so I have been trying out the Reports and did not received this problem in the beginning. I have also gone through the report options and changed them back to the defaults.

I do have a pretty big database.

Have you tried
a) Reboot the PC - use Restart not Shutdown as the latter tends to retain session settings and the former will refresh everything
b) Re-install FH.

I have done restarts and complete shutdowns with all the options I have done to try and fix the problem.

I have not tried to reinstall FH yet. Would I need to uninstall the app first?
