* Search & replace paragraph marks

I wish to search and replace text in the notes field, including the paragraph or end-of-line marker at the end of the text. How does one indicate the paragraph marker in the search field?

Press the Enter or Return key and if Show White Space is enabled a ¶ pilcrow is shown.

As it says in the Help & Advice page for the Major Options tab:

If Search is empty, only empty fields are matched. If Replace is empty, any matching Search text is deleted.
Both boxes support all characters including tab & newline.

However, there may not be an explicit newline character at the end of the Note text.
In that case, you must use the Lua Pattern Mode and enter the $ end of text anchor magic character.

If not sure whether an explicit newline character exists or not then use:
¶?$ which matches an optional newline character anchored to the end of the text.
