An example of this problem.
I have a Baptism fact. Date: 1 May 1909 Place: Black Notley, nr Braintree, Essex
And a Burial fact. Date: 21 Dec 1976 Place: St Peter ad Vincula Anglican, Coggeshall, Essex
The descendants narrative report produces these sentences (I have not amended the standard fact sentences).
She was baptised on 1 May 1909 in Black Notley.
She was buried on 21 December 1976 in St Peter ad Vincula Anglican.
Do you know why the places are truncated please - it does not happen for births and deaths.
Is it me doing something wrong or FH?
Thanks
Ian

Re: Why are baptism and burial fact sentences being truncated in narrative reports?
In the report Options for narrative reports, on the General tab, the last item in the list of tick boxes is 'Use Short Form for Repeated Place Names'. This option is ticked by default. The purpose of this is explained in the Help file as follows:
" If checked, place names are only given in full the first time they are mentioned within each generation. Thereafter only the first part of the place name is given. If this option is not checked, place names are always given in full. "
The idea is that it makes a narrative report a bit less repetitive. However to see the place names in full, simply untick that option.
