FH7 source templates

Post by wagojo » 05 Jan 2021 08:08

Hi everyone

Am I missing something? After creating a 'source template' and importing it to my current project, there seems to be no way to delete it from the project! I can delete the source template itself, but appear not to be able to delete the version that was added to the project, which is problematic if you discover a problem with the 'added' (imported) template. I can understand that this might not be possible if the template has been 'used' in the project - but this one has not been - it still just exists as a template.

Thanks
Wayne

If you go to the Source Templates tab of the Records Window, you can highlight the template and hit the Delete key.

Thank you - I didn't even consider the good old 'delete' key as an option! :)

The alternative is the good old Edit > X Delete (Del) command!

See the FHUG Knowledge Base Delete One or Many Records advice.
