ThumbCache.dat
I use Google Drive to store my database and all associated data, because I have FH on both a PC and a laptop. The ThumbCache.dat cache file is usually up around the 1gb mark, and although I delete it as often as I remember, it takes up a significant portion of my allocation. Is there any possible way I can get the cache file to save elsewhere on each computer to save the hassle?

You can symbolic link it (or at least that works for Dropbox) or you can simply turn off the caching in tools>preferences general tab and the advanced button.

Re: ThumbCache.dat
OK. Thanks, Jane. I learned another valuable lesson, too. If you delete the FindMyPastCache.dat, all the FMP hints reappear, and you have to go through them again...won't be doing that again any time soon
