* Links to Individuals in notes

So, I've created some notes (say, research notes) and have embedded a link to a particular individual in each.

Does FH provide a way to get a list of notes which contain an embedded link to this person?

That is a good question!

As a matter of interest, why didn't you link each Research Note to each Individual record directly via the Notes tab?
Then it is easy to see which Research Note is linked to each Individual.

Regarding the rich text Note links to records, I will have to update my Where Used Record Links plugin to include those rich text links!

The standard View>Record Links for the person will include any notes in which the person is embedded.

Ah yes, so it does, but it might be difficult to distinguish which links are due to rich text links and which are standard data relationship links.
In the case of links in Research Note records that will be easy but links in local Notes and Text From Source will be a challenge until I update the Where Used Record Links plugin.

There are cases where linking the individual via the notes tab will work just fine. But not always.

For example, I might have a research task where I set up tasks for various individuals associated with the research task. I would probably make a table with entries including a link to the individual, what needs to be done, notes, etc.

I could also connect the research note directly to each person in my table, but that would be double work.
