I am a bit vague here, but am I right in assuming the counter that ticks over during the closing backup is a Pool counter.??
Now if this is right then my pool count has gone silly, Its showing as 44, where it was only 37 before the upgrade.
If I go to the records Window, Individual records and click on the Pools column and sort it I only have 1 to 35 in my Pool?

So, and this depends on that closing count down being a pool count. where did these 9 extra pools come from.

I don’t believe it is Pool numbers, as I have a clearout occasionally and have only one or two pools, yet still have a largish number.
I think the number refers to the number of files being saved to the ZIP file. Bear in mind that each query and Plugin is a separate file, so the number can get quite large.

If your number has increased, perhaps you or FH7 installation added more queries.

Well I know I have added nothing since the upgrade to V7. Just did the install and thats all.
Your right it is a count of the files, thanks for that.
This also reminded me that as I keep my Media files OUTSIDE my project folder, they are not added to the backup and there for not added to the file count. By copying the files from my stand alone Media folder to the projects media folder. I pushed the file count up to 190. So I am now aware that Media files have be within the project folder to be included in the backup process. NOT sure how I ever missed this. Means I am going have redo all my media links but great peace of mind to know they are in the backup.

Peter, you do NOT have to redo all your Media links.

Just use Windows File Explorer to MOVE (not Copy) your files into the Project's Media subfolder.
Then in FH use Tools > External File Links... and click Auto Repair Links.
As long as you don't change any filenames, then that is it, job done!

Not only will the media be in the backups, but moving a Project to a new PC is easy peasy.
