V7 Search and Replace Plugin

Post by dewilkinson » 10 Dec 2020 11:02

Mike,

I realise a lot of effort is being made by yourself and other skilled people to amend plugins for V7, but I was just wondering when the Search and Replace plugin is likely to be ready as I make extensive use of it.

Also, you kindly made available a Format Dates in Sentences plugin which makes my published website look much neater. I realise that this will not be a priority, but if it is possible for me to modify it I am willing to have a go. I have modified a couple plugins so they do exactly what I want, but as I worked in more traditional programming languages I have never spent much time understanding LUA.

Please be patient. Although I had updated my published Plugins for FH V7 the new Plugin Store has only recently been available and I have to transfer all the Help pages into the Plugin Store, update the Plugin for those new pages, as well as publish the Plugin itself. I am tempted to just publish the Plugins but refer to the old Help pages, which won't describe any new features.

There are plans to add a Knowledge Base guide to updating FH V6 Plugins to be FH V7 compatible, but don't know when that will happen.
