* FH seizes when incomplete date is entered & I click away

I am running FH through CrossOver on a Mac and keep hitting the same problem. If I enter part of a date in a date field and then click away to check the date I am entering is correct, when I click back to FH it is frozen. Hitting the Cancel button or the red cross button does nothing. Pressing Esc doesn't work either. Is there another way to de-freeze FH or do I just Force it to Quit and maybe lose a bit of information?

When changing a Date field and the Invalid Date message opens saying Unknown date. Please enter a valid date. do not change focus to another application as ƒh will freeze and must be closed. This problem may affect other error messages.
