I am totally mystified :o
Why have you copied the Projects that you wanted to dispose of?
I have only ever suggested you copy the four latest current Projects you want to continue working on.

I think you will have to delete both the Family Historian Projects and Family Historian Projects 2 folders, and start again from scratch.

Mike,
I have sorted out my storage problem, I think, and spent time tidying up my Documents.
I have deleted the two Family Historian Folders that I had last week and created a new one- see attachment.
I have copied the three "good" folders over from my Project Window. I still got the message about "the folder within a folder" as I told you in a previous message.

That is looking much better, Sheena.
I suspect the error message is something to do with the copied folders being nested inside the Documents folder, which FH is currently using as the File > Projects Windows > Location: folder.

While I remember, please use File Explorer to Rename your new Family Historian Projects Folder to be just Family Historian Projects which is the FH default for the Location: of projects and will be simpler later.

I believe you wish to resolve the SCOTTS, BORLANDS~Dec 2019 (2014_09_30 19_01_21 UTC) project problems?

If so, we need to tackle the SCOTTS, BORLANDS~Dec 2019 (2014_09_30 19_01_21 UTC) project folder.
I would like to see what is nested inside that project folder which I suspect has some duplicated files that need correcting.
Similar to what you have done recently, please post some screenshots of File Explorer listings for the following folders:

C:\Users\sheen\Documents\SCOTTS, BORLANDS~Dec 2019 (2014_09_30 19_01_21 UTC)

Mike,
More trouble, I am afraid.
I changed the title of the folder to Family Historian Projects as you said.
I thought I would click on the projects to see if they would open and this is what I found under the Harling, Harrison, Richens one.
The Guthries one seems to be fine- the full project with pictures.
I will not do anything else until I hear from you.

It looks like the files from the flash drive may have got into more folders than I had hoped.
Perhaps it is best if you don't try and open any projects until we have reviewed all the folders & files.

Are you suggesting that FULLTR~1 Harling, Harrison, Richens Sept 2020 project should have Media?
Does the original in the ...\Documents\... folder have Media?

Does the ...\Family Historian Projects\MAINFA~Parker-Robertson Tree Jan 2021 folder look OK?
Don't try and open it as a project, just inspect the files in File Explorer
If it looks good then it should be safe to delete that bad MAINFA~Parker-Robertson Tree Jan 2021.fh_data folder.

Mike,
All my projects should have media- mainly photographs and certificates.

I checked the folders in the new FH Projects by hovering over the folder icon. This is what I found. Is this what you wanted to see?

FULLTRE~Harling, Harrison, Richens, Sept 2020.
Folders......None
Files-FULLTRE~Harling, Harrison, Richens, Sept 2020.

MAINFA~Parker-Robertson Tree, Jan 2021
Folders- MAINFA~Parker-Robertson Tree, Jan 2021.fh_data. Public
Files-MAINFA~Parker-Robertson Tree, Jan 2021

Guthries~Apr 2020
Folders- Guthries, Apr2020.fh_data. Public
Files-Guthries~Apr 2020

I will look at the SCOTTS BORLAND Trees later

SCOTTS, BORLAND Folders
I have attached a copy of what I found in C:Drive .
I suspect this is what I should have had for the other Projects.
In Documents at File History this is what I found.
(folder icon) SCOTTS,BORLAND 18/03/2020
SCOTTS,BORLAND~Dec 2019 (2014_09_30 19_01_21 UTC).fh.data
Date created 20/09/2020 Size 66.7 MB
Folders: Cache, Charts, LofFiles, Media, Snapshots
Files......

With Gedcom icon -SCOTTS,BORLAND~Dec 2019 (2014_09_30 19_01_21 UTC) (1)
Type: Family Historian Project File Size 331bytes
Date modified 17/09/2020

Also with Gedcom icon -SCOTTS,BORLAND~Dec 2019 (2014_09_30 19_01_21 UTC)
Type: Family Historian Project File Size 206 Bytes
Date modified 12/02/2021

I hope this helps. I am totally confused as I thought I understood the programme but obviously I don't.

Unfortunately, just hovering over folder icons does not give the full picture and details get truncated with an ellipsis ...
Only actually opening the folders in File Explorer will provide all the details.

In each project folder, open the sub-folder whose name ends with .fh_data to reveal the GEDCOM file and folders including such as Cache and Media. They are important.

I find it difficult to be certain about what you are posting when so much detail is hidden with an ellipsis ...
Please expand the width of columns to reveal as much as possible of the Name and Date modified, etc.
Things like (2) on the end of a filename can be important in resolving your problems. Don't hide anything please.
Also, ensure the full file path is visible at the top starting with C:\Users\

Sorry, I just can't do this and it is stressing me, even disturbing my sleep.
Thank you for spending so much time trying to sort it out.
I am not sure where I go from here, but I need a break. My brain is frazzled.
