string table output

Post by Ron Melby » 03 Jun 2020 18:02

print(tbl[k].v)

how can I "stringize" v?
so, get a table entry by key, v = "fred= 12, John =13, max = "whatever", bill = "endofprogram""

I am debugging a debugger and I cannot for the life of me see that table entry.

print(tbl[k].v) is just eye candy for print(tbl[k][v]) where v = "fred" or v = "John", etc, ...
