Hi, I'm a relative newcomer to FH, the problem I'm experiencing is when I import an image of a document e.g birth cert or census form, the image displays vertically when it appears in FH making it difficult to read, is there a way to turn the image round.

Thank you Helen for your quick response, from pointing me in the right direction I have found loads of info on the forum. I'll check out IrfanView

Re: Importing media from a PC
I prefer the displays to be shown vertically because when I do a narrative report and print it the images will cover a page and will be readable. If these are printed horizontally they are squeezed to fit the width of the page.
If I want to view the image on my computer I just open them on my software and rotate them. When finished I do not save them and they go back to vertical storage

Thanks for the tip Victor, sounds a good idea. As you say I can rotate the images on my pc, plus I didn't want to download anymore software such as Irfan view,
