Re: Clock time
You can set your time zone in your preferences. Click on your name (top right) and then User Control Panel. Then on the Board Preferences tab set My Timezone to UCT+ 00.00 (Europe/London).

Thanks Lorna
Competed now
I thought I had done this several years ago has any change altered this
Surely most of the Group are UK and the 0.00 should be the default
Thanks again

Re: Clock time
We have members from across the globe including Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and various European countries as well as the UK -- so hard to pick a default.

Re: Clock time
I suppose for a "global" forum, the obvious would be 24 hour UTC. Only confusing for us in UK for the summer! I suppose the ideal would be 24 hour UTC+ whatever your Local time+ the posters local time. Might go someway to understanding when people are likely to be asleep.

Re: Clock time
For users who are not logged in, the default is UTC. Registered users choose their time zone at registration and can amend it in their Board Preferences thereafter.

Re: Clock time
Daylight Saving Time (i.e UK BST) is a very widespread phenomenon that applies to most European countries and North America, etc. It is certainly NOT unique to Britain. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_ ... by_country.
