Custom Expression Question for Query

Post by USMC7312 » 18 Dec 2019 23:43

I am trying to build a custom query that returns all people of a certain surname. What expression would I use?

BTW:
You can get a similar list in the Records Window on the Individuals tab by using the Filter: for Last Name top left.
Depending on the Options chosen that list can include the Married Surname of women, and Alternate Surnames.

To include all those via a Query would require many extra Row tab filter expressions.

Lorna's expression is valid but only checks the Primary Surname of each Individual.
