Re: Is Joseph's Father Christopher?
Seems reasonable, until proven otherwise, given his death age matches his baptism date too.
The other baptism dates would mean the death age was out by a lot more than 12 years.

Re: Is Joseph's Father Christopher?
For those who have no access to Ancestry (me) the followmg database
England, Dorset, Parish Registers, 1538-1936
is available at FamilySearch.
Some extra information (perhaps you didn't put it in your post)
Additional children:
Elizabeth Bap 13 Feb 1803
Thomas Bap 2 May 1813
George Bap 8 Jun 1817
Susan Bap 13 Aug 1814
and another
Susan Bap 19 Mar 1820 with no father given and mother Elizabeth.
The last one suggests that Joseph may have died giving some credence to the death listed. It also suggests that Joseph was not the father since I think, but may be wrong, that christenings mention the father even when deceased. So another bit of circumstantial evidence.

Added in Edit. Missed out a crucial piece of information. A Susan Pitcher aged 2 was buried on 2 Mar 1817

Re: Is Joseph's Father Christopher?
Thanks all, I'll grab the images for the baptisms from Ancestry and look to see what they have done for the children who are not listed in their transcriptions. The last 3 will be in the other record set as they are 1813 onwards.
