In the above I think this is
14 Sep 1806 Hannah daughter of James Lock and Hannah his wife Born 27 Aug 1806

The C on the front is because the same register was being used for several parishes in Wiltshire, England and there is
C Clarendon.
P Pitton
F Farley

If anyone fancies a challenge, I am having problems finding the burial for Hannah Lock born 1787 to the same parents. I found a burial for a Hannah Lock in 1808, but that's two years after the birth of this Hannah and it does not say child which the other burials do state in this register.

There was a Hannah Lock buried in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, 16 January 1792, no age recorded. But Trowbridge is some distance from Pitton so it's unlikley to be the one. The parents don't seem to have strayed from Pitton at all, as they had 12 children baptised there between 1787 and 1813.

Findmypast don't have the 1808 burial you mention, but do have a Hannah Lock buried in Pitton 13 December 1807. However that's still too late. There was also a Hannah WHITLOCK buried 10 Feb 1796.

Thanks Lorna, I have recently got back to doing actual research, and wanted to check I was not getting too old for the "hunt".

We went to Pitton last week on the way back from Southampton and very lovely it is too.
