I created a GEDcom file using the Export command in Family Historian.
After I had upload the GEDcom File to Ancestry, there were numbers tagged on to each of the addresses - "Huddersfield, Yorkshire40"
I tried the Plugin "Export GEDcom File" but Ancestry will not accept this file.
At solutions please.

Re: Exporting GEDcom to Ancestry
Colin, I am not surprised that Ancestry made a mess of the FH GEDCOM file, because Ancestry does not support all the GEDCOM fields (such as Address and Age), nor any of the FH custom fields. Most genealogy products are much the same.
The Export Gedcom File Plugin should be fine if you choose the (ANC) Ancestry Family Tree mode and use the exported GEDCOM file from the Export folder as explained in plugins:help:export_gedcom_file:export_gedcom_file|> Export Gedcom File Plugin and specifically in plugins:help:export_gedcom_file:anc_ancestry_family_tree|> Export Gedcom File ~ (ANC) Ancestry Family Tree. BUT do NOT open this GEDCOM file in FH before uploading to Ancestry as that will undo all the good work done by the Plugin.

Re: Exporting GEDcom to Ancestry
Thank you as again you have provided the solution.
I have had an email that, IT at Ancestry are working hard to resolve this problem.
I am not hold my breath.
Interestingly, Ancestry admitted that the last time they index uploaded Public Trees was 10 October 2017. They are as yet unable to provide a date as to theie next index of the Public Trees.
Regards

Re: Exporting GEDcom to Ancestry
What is the problem that "IT at Ancestry are working hard to resolve"?
I have just uploaded a GEDCOM exported by the Plugin without any problem with the Public Tree option selected.
Can you see it at https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/ ... 512/family?

Re: Exporting GEDcom to Ancestry
My uploaded Public Tree is not yet searchable. This was part of Ancestry reasons for the delay.
There words not mine.
