* Criminal Activity!!

Hello,

I was wondering if any of the Advanced Users on here could give me an idea of how to log a criminal event against an individual. I have recently stumbled on quite a few family convictions!!!! Date, age of person involved, location, sentence and type of crime, committal place. I was thinking of creating a custom fact and that worked to some extent, but didn't give me all the options above and also the connected sentence was not correct. I would appreciate some help if possible please. I am an intermediate user and have used FH from V3.

A custom fact will do the job. Remember you can add a lot of detail about the case in the Note field for the event. With a fact name of criminal conviction the basic fact definition can include Date, Age, Place, Address and Note. The narrative sentence could then be {individual} was convicted of a crime {date} {place} {age}. The Note field in individual cases can then contain extra information about the nature of the crime, where the crime took place (if this is different from the Place of conviction) the punishment, etc.

Tried your suggestion and it worked first time.....will use it for all the other convictions I need to enter.
