Cholera outbreak, 1848

Post by gwilym'smum » 14 Jun 2017 07:48

I have received a message from Birmingham and Midland Fam Hist Soc. to say that there is a talk about the above event in Newcastle under Lyme. There was a large loss of life. There is lottery funding to digitize a map of houses of the dead and create a data base. It is at The Brampton Museum at 2.30pm on Wed 21 June. Phone 01782 619705.

Unfortunately, that was last month, so unless they are running it again, you have missed it.
