I have just registered with the site, having entered just about all known family history information onto FH6. I hope to be able to print out ancestor lists and am still trying to do this. It will take time I know.

Depends what style of ancestor lists you want.
You could try selecting yourself and clicking the Ancestor Diagram button in the main toolbar.
Or use Publish > Narrative Reports > Ancestors By Generation or Publish > Outline Reports > Ancestor Outline.
Or if you simply want to list the Records Window list of Individuals see how_to:customising_record_window_columns|> Customise or Print Records Window Columns.

As a newcomer I strongly advise you study how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|Key Features for Newcomers especially the Documentation & Tutorials initially, but don't forget all the other topics. Checkout the Family Historian Sample Project for good examples. Don't be too hasty to enter loads of data before establishing good standard practices - Ancestral Sources will help with that.
