* Private Individuals

I am looking to upload my tree onto Ancestry, but I dont want details of any living persons. I have seen on peoples trees where it just shows the word Private and nothing else. Some of the living individuals I have, unfortunately I have no birth date for. Please can someone advise on how to make all these individuals private. I love this programme, it is so clever, but it is too hard for me, and would appreciate a little help if possible. Thanks, Marilyn

You have asked that at just the right time as another user has been exploring how to do that.

The process is described in how_to:exporting_gedcom_with_multimedia|> Exporting a Family Tree with/without Media in general terms, with specific steps under Export to Website Without Sensitive Data.

Any Individual with no Birth Date is assumed to be Living by default, and thus get sensitive data removed.
