Narrative Report - facts help

Post by RBH425 » 04 Dec 2016 15:23

I would like the basic facts to show next to descendants in the narrative report, when the person does not have marriage/children.

for example: Freeborn Balch (1634-1657) Birth [this is empty, yet I have a birth date in facts]
Freeborn does have a narrative note underneath, but basic facts are missing. His birth info & death info are not there. There is no + sign next to his name, so the info is not later on in the report.

Other descendants with no marriage/children, without a note underneath, do list the facts of birth & death.
Thank you

I presume you have the Report > Options > Main > One Section Per Descendant not ticked, but what other options are selected, especially related to Notes?

There are many types of Note: e.g. Record local Note, Record shared/linked Note, Birth Event local Note.
Which type is causing the problem, as I cannot recreate that scenario?
Maybe a screenshot of the Property Box of Freeborn Balch showing the problem Note would help.
