Highlighting names on a CD/DVD

Post by rodit » 15 Aug 2016 07:10

Some time back I created a Family DVD and managed to highlight those names in the Index and Contents which could be selected to show more information.
I am now creating another DVD using a different project and cannot, for the life of me, repeat this highlighting. It was in fact Bold and Blue.
I have looked at the DVD Plugin but cannot find anything there, nor can I find anything in the KB.
Could someone please advise me.

Regards

Roger

I suspect you are talking about the highlighting on EVERY hyperlink.
The default is bold but grey, and is applied to EVERY Name in the Contents, the Index, and in every page where a Name links to another person.

Those hyperlink and other colours are set in wizard Step 7: Presentation & Behaviour via the Colours... button.

To alter the hyperlink colours, select the item Link on left, choose the required Basic Colour and click <<Select to apply that colour.
Repeat for item Link (cursor over) to choose the colour when the cursor hovers over the hyperlink.
Experiment with adjusting other items, such as Menu Bar will change the colour of the thick toolbar across the top of each page.

The above is briefly mentioned in how_to:make_family_tree|> Make a Family Tree CD/DVD or Website under how_to:make_family_tree:step_7_presentation|> Family Tree Wizard ~ Step 7 – Presentation and Behaviour.

Thanks, Mike
That is exactly what I was looking for. Easy when you know how.
