First off, I am using a customised Individual Summary report. I also have several custom attributes to record different names (Married name, Confirmation name, Birth name and Also known as).
These name attributes are included in the "Main Section Items" group and removed from the "Individual Events and Attributes" section.
The problem is that I have some people for whom I have more than one "Also known as" attribute, but I only see the first recorded "Also known as" entry, when I would like to include them all.
When I get the "Edit Item Details" dialog and add the Expression for the attribute I get the following:
%INDI._ATTR-ALSO_KNOWN_AS[1]% and I am assuming that it is the [1] part that brings back just the first entry.
I have tried the square brackets with no number "[]", the square brackets with 1+ (i.e. [1+]) and also taking out the square brackets all together - to no avail.
Either I'm obviously doing something wrong (which is not unreasonable in the slightest!) or it can't be done.
Does anyone have any ideas at all? I have tried searching the forum and the knowledge base so advanced apologies if this has been asked and answered before.
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Custom Attributes in Report
You are almost there Steve.
Firstly though, you cannot use the looping index [1+] as that is only valid in Diagram Text Schemes.
You are correct that [1] refers to the 1st item, and Data Ref Assistant dialogues only ever produce that index.
So to reference the 2nd item use [2] instead.
You can put two or more data refs in one Main Section Item to display them on one line. If the 2nd or subsequent items do not exist then nothing will be displayed.
e.g. %INDI._ATTR-ALSO_KNOWN_AS[1]℅ ℅INDI._ATTR-ALSO_KNOWN_AS[2]℅
Alternatively, put each data ref in a separate Main Section Item, but choose to display if not empty.
The Knowledge Base on Understanding Data References covers Indices right at the beginning of the Basics.

Cheers Mike - much appreciated
I've added the entries as you highlighted and everything looks great now. Just need to remember to add further lines if necessary!

Mike
I did thank you - and now bookmarked. As you pointed out I got mixed up with the information on Diagram Text Schemes.
Thanks for all your help.
