* Custom Queries in Windows 10

I have just done a clean install of Windows 10 and have successfully downloaded the FH program and GEDCOM file. So it works. However, I want to transfer my custom queries from a memory stick to the laptop. But where do I transfer them to? I cannot find the file address you have listed on the FHUG website. Is it different in Windows 10?

Firstly, please use the User Control Panel at top of this web page, and on its Profile tab update your Family Historian Version.

The best way to migrate from PC to PC is to follow the how_to:family_historian_migration_guide|> Family Historian V5 & V6 Migration Guide that ensures all custom items such as Queries migrate correctly to the appropriate folders. Are you sure your only custom items are Queries? What file path location did you copy them from?

Cannot answer question "Is it different in Windows 10?" without knowing which Windows OS you are comparing with. See glossary:family_historian_program_data_folder|> Family Historian Program Data Folder. What file path are you trying to locate?

If you only have a few Custom Queries then use File > Import/Export > Import > Query for each one.

Many thanks for your quick response. Having posted my query I returned to my search and lo and behold I found the folder for custom queries in the Program Data folder which previously had not been displayed in File Explorer! So I have now transferred my custom queries and they have displayed in FH as expected.
