Information held by security services.

There was a member of my family that was involved with a political group during the 1930s that was classed as a danger to the state. How does one obtain details held on him? I am happy to employ the services of an expert.

Have you tried newspapers? A wide selection is available on FMP and the British Library newspaer site.
Otherwise you may be out of luck because official records may have 100 year closure.
