List of media linked to individual
Using Version 6 - I have linked some media to an individual through the Property Box media tab. Other media I have linked to a source for the same individual. How can I generate a list of all media linked to this one individual? Thanks

There are a number of options Susie.
1) Individual Summary Report
This is the easiest because it is ready made.
To reduce the details other than Media, change the Report Options as follows:
On the Contents tab, untick every tick setting except Main and Individual Events/Attributes at the top.
On the Pictures tab, set Max Pics for Individual and Others to 9 and the rest to 0.
On the Sources tab, set Max Pics Per Source & Max Pics Per Source Citation both to 9.
This will give a good summary of all the Media, and a few more refinements can reduce the other details even further.
2) Custom Queries
This needs to be designed by you to pick up all the direct and indirect Media.
It will probably need an Individual Query and a Fact Query to list them all.
A complication is dealing with multiple instances where there may be more than one Media per record or more than one Source Citation per fact.
3) Custom Plugin
This needs to be designed by you or another FHUG member.
However, this will produce a much neater list than the previous two methods, and will comprehensively find all Media linked via the Individual Media tab, linked directly to Individual Facts, linked to Citations, and linked to all Sources attached to the Individual Record, Names, Facts, etc.
Which is the best solution depends on whether you want a quick one-off, or something you need to use over and over again.

If you just want to be able to see the list on screen, click the gear-wheel icon in the media tab of the individual's property box and select the second option offered. Make sure all the options for linked media are ticked, then click OK. The main media window will now open, with a list of the linked media in the left hand panel and thumbnails in the main panel. To examine the details of each item, click on its thumbnail.
