Family Common Data

Post by ColinBeaver » 17 May 2015 10:09

Using Version 5.

I have a residence address.

Instead of entering the address separately for each member of the family is there a way of doing one common data entry - eg as with Ancestral Sources for Census Data.

Thanks

Hello Colin. Please update your Profile via User Control Panel at top of this web page and set Family Historian version to V5, so it appears in your panel to the right of your postings.

I presume you are talking about entering a Residence fact with perhaps a Date, Place & Address, and even a Source Citation for each Family member.

Having completely entered one fact, then on the Facts tab use the Copy Fact button (next to the Add Fact button), and in each other Family member use the Paste Fact button.
