Re: GEDCOM?
Please use the User Control Panel at top of this FHUG page to set your FH Version in pane on right. Select the Profile tab and select Version at bottom then click Submit.
I have moved this to General Usage because a non-FH program is not involved.
Are you using Projects?
If yes then you probably need to copy the entire Project, not just GEDCOM.
Are both PC yours?
If yes then you could use a synchro cloud store such as Dropbox or OneDrive.
Are both PC using same FH Version?
If not then what are they?
You may need to use the Export Gedcom File plugin.

Re: GEDCOM?
Bryn, with that early version the only way is to copy the Gedcom file, either via a memory stick or possibly via cloud storage such as Dropbox. Plugins are only supported after FH V5.
If you have linked Multimedia files then they need to be copied as well.
BUT, with linked Multimedia files the transfer will 'break' the Media File links, which will need to be repaired after every transfer.
If this is going to be a regular transfer, then you need to consider some other options to avoid that problem.
I am happy to make suggestions if that is required.
