Re: Migration from PAF to FH5

I have published V2.0 of the Import From PAF Plugin in the Plugin Store.

In this version I have taken a view and made some changes to the WiP Version:
  • It allows PAF Tag names to include hyphens (-) and underscores (_).
(If required other characters could easily be allowed.)
  • Any hyphen (-) or underscore (_) is replaced by a space in its matching Custom Fact name.
e.g. OWN-WILL or OWN_WILL becomes Own will with a Custom Event Tag of EVEN-OWN_WILL
The only exception is, if a hyphen (-) or underscore (_) follows a 4 digit year prefix, then it is discarded.
  • Multiple identical consecutive PAF Tag names in a single Individual Note are always joined together as one, because that is the standard PAF convention, and anything else is tricky to construct.
Otherwise multiple identical PAF Tag names each create a separate instance of the Data Reference.
All other situations are unlikely, so the Mode option has been removed as unnecessary complication.
  • A special case is the user can insert a dummy empty PAF Tag to force an extra instance of the Data Reference.
