Mike,

On the Facts tab, there is a column titled Date. In my report, the value is sometimes red. What error is this indicating?

For example... for Birth the value is 9532, but it is in red. I looked around in the Help & Advice, but couldn't determine what the error is.

That will be the Fact Date warnings described by the Result Set help page and introduced with V1.5.

I think I understood about the different fact date warnings. I just didn't understand that the date field would be red when there was a warning for the dates for that particular fact.
