Show Project Statistics

Post by CurtisB48 » 11 Sep 2013 16:57

I have recently downloaded Show Project Statistics plugin which has helped me identify records that have missing births and deaths. I have tried to export the Records and Facts as a csv file and I get the following error message

...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:145:
Unable to open file in "w" mode.
C:\Users\Brian\Documents\Family Historian Projects\Curtis & Lyon_2013-Renumbered Id\Public\Show Project Statistics ~ Records.csv
C:\Users\Brian\Documents\Family Historian Projects\Curtis & Lyon_2013-Renumbered Id\Public\Show Project Statistics ~ Records.csv: No such file or directory

stack traceback:

...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:145: in function 'OpenFile'
...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:152: in function 'SaveStringToFile'

...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:1467: in function <...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:1465>

...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:1529: in function 'GUI_MainDialogue'
...ily Historian\Plugins\Show Project Statistics.fh_lua:2070: in main chunk.

I'm not sure if the file association for Show Project Statistics for the DAT File & GRID File are correct, when I look at the properties for these files they are set to Opens with: Microsoft Word. Is this correct?

I would appreciate any comments or help in resolving this error message please.

Does the public directory exist in your Project folder as shown?

e.g C:\Users\Brian\Documents\Family Historian Projects\Curtis & Lyon_2013-Renumbered Id\Public\

If not you might need to create it. FH normally creates it when a Project is created, but perhaps yours got deleted?

Jane

Thank you for swift reply, I created the Public folder and everything has worked, I am so impressed with this software.
