I have tried to find the answer everywhere but just cannot find it. I have the possible problem plugin which has given loads of problems. I cannot find any info anywhere on how to mark any as not a problem.

Sanderson,

You can mark items on the report to be ignored and not reported by the plugin.  You need the additional plugin called Possible Problem Set Ignore Markers.

You can find it in the plugin store.

Here is a direct link to it:  http://www.family-historian.co.uk/plugi ... try?id=168

Thanks for your help. My only problem now is how to deal with wills which are now marked as not post death. I can see what the program means because they are obviously made before death so maybe I need to alter the event to be something like probate.

The standard Will event is intended to show the date a will was made, hence its normal timeframe is set to 'Life' and it has the sentence template
{individual} made a will {date} {place} {age}

The standard Probate event is for the date the estate was probated, hence its normal timeframe is set to 'Post Death' and it has the sentence template
{individual} had {his/her} estate probated {date} {place} {age}

(It is bizarre that age is included in that sentence. It can easily be removed, but in practice it will never be a problem because an age would only be displayed if entered, and by default the age field is not shown in the property box for Probate events, so no age could be entered accidentally.)

You could of course change the sentence template and the normal timeframe for the Will event if you want to use it differently, but I recommend using the Will and Probate events for their original purposes. If you happen to know that someone made more than one will in their lifetime it can be interesting to record the dates and a note about the contents of the wills so that you can see when and perhaps why they changed their mind about things!
