Also could this query handle other mising factors but substituting 'occupations' wirth Births etc ??

You either misunderstand how things work, or are misusing the terminology.
Occupations Per Census is a Plugin which creates a Result Set.
I can modify it to produce different results, but you say

You can write and amend Custom Queries to suit your needs using the Query Window.
That is what they are for, and simple ones are quite easy.
It just so happens that a Query also creates a Result Set.
I am not sure how you differentiate 'an additional query' for the blank fields from 'an adjusted query'.
Custom Queries are additional and may be derived/adjusted from a Standard Query.
Exclude unless =FactLabel() matches 'Birth'
would only list 'Birth' Events.
The Plugin cannot easily be written to guess which blank fields in which Facts you want investigated.
So it is better that you write the Queries yourself.

I am extremely grateful to you and Peter for the help in producing the 1.2 version which I will use on my other projects as well.
I did not understand....but do so now in finding the blank facts.

I am a part time genealogist now and advise other people to buy FH which I think is tremenndous.
