I was checking the multimedia screen for records that weren't linked to individuals.
There are about twenty records that show no links, but in fact they are all linked.
I can resolve things individually by going go to the multimedia tab of the person record, unlink the record and relink it - problem solved - links shown 1.
But is there a way to check the accuracy of all the links so I know they are more accurate than they are.
ps File validates OK - no errors.

Can you double check you don't actually have local links to the files rather than via the media records.
It's easiest to see if you look at the All tab.
If this is not the case, it might be best to send a copy of your file (with the issues) to support at family-historian.co.uk so they can take a look for you.

I have never noticed that problem, but here are some things to try.
Try expanding a suspect Multimedia Record in the Multimedia Records Window or on its All tab.
There should be as many Link/Note entries as the Links count.
If you suspect a Multimedia Record shows the wrong number of links, then select it and use menubar View > Record Links... to see what FH lists.
Try using menubar View > Standard Queries > Links to Multimedia Objects to see if the link counts are different.
In the GEDCOM file itself, for any Individual Record there should be an entry as shown below for its Multimedia Tab Links.where @O2@ and @O31@ are the links to Multimedia Record Ids = 2 and 31.
[EDIT]
Regarding Local Multimedia Objects, these can only be added via the All tab, and in the Multimedia Tab the Edit button is greyed out.
In the GEDCOM file they look like:

Thanks Jane/Mike,
In answer to Mike's suggestion to run the query, the results are very similar but not identical. For the most part the Link/Note entries do have the correct number linked to people.
Jane, I add a new multimedia record for a person via the Multimedia tab on person record window. That is what I did with the multimedia entries linked to people that are showing no links. Not sure if that is a local link
The only other point I can see is that the problem entries were all done in the last couple of weeks.

I can see what is happening. They are double entries.
(Everything was identical except the record ID's of the multimedia object so that was the way to differentiate them.)

Don't forget you can use the Edit>Merge Records option to merge the links together if you want.
