So I used the GED plugin to export my tree from FH as a 5.5 GED with default settings minus removing the async wife and husband. Then I imported that file into Ancestry and MyHeritage. Everything worked great in Ancestry, but MyHeritage turned into a mess. In short, it imports the file fine. It displays the tree fine, BUT I can’t edit the tree.
When I try to remove a fact from a person it returns errors as displayed in the attached files. MyHeritage support claims it is retiring out and hanging because there are a bunch, like at least 50, of 40 page notes, but I don’t believe I have any notes this long.
Any thoughts?

Re: GED Exporting Plug-in Issue
The problem is that most genealogy programs are not fully compliant with GEDCOM 5.5 or 5.5.1.
That is why the Plugin has dedicated options for many genealogy programs to cater for each dialect of GEDCOM.
I suggest you use export modes (ANC) Ancestry Family Tree and (MYH) MyHeritage Family Tree respectively instead.
That will produce two exported GEDCOM files customised for Ancestry and MyHeritage.
They will use you Project name but end in ... ANC UTF8.ged and ... MYH UTF8.ged respectively.
Just upload the appropriate one to each product.
BTW: Why did you change the Same Sex Asymmetric Format option, as most products only work with that format?
It only impacts Same Sex partnerships and has no effect on the usual heterosexual partnerships.

Re: GED Exporting Plug-in Issue
The asymmetric was done before I understood what it was doing.
So, I created a new GED using the default settings for MYH and it hangs MyHeritage too?

Re: GED Exporting Plug-in Issue
Sorry about that.
Which of the two modes in plugins:help:export_gedcom_file:myh_myheritage_family_tree#import_details|> Import Details are you using?
Family Tree Builder application on PC, or the Website Family Trees online?
Your earlier screenshot suggests the latter online mode?
Does the same problem affect both modes?
An advantage of using Family Tree Builder on your PC is the import GEDCOM dialogue has a View Issues button, and the Reports > Open Reports Folder command reveals an Import Issues - …txt file, both of which identify import issues that need to be resolved.
Note that Family Tree Builder may say (Not Responding) while adjusting Media.
You could try exporting using Multimedia Conversion: (WIPE~ALL) Remove all the Multimedia to see if that helps.
If none of the above improve matters then try the following.
These are mostly as advised in the plugins:help:export_gedcom_file:export_gedcom_file|> Export Gedcom File Plugin help page:

These are mostly as advised in the plugins:help:export_gedcom_file:export_gedcom_file|> Export Gedcom File Plugin help page:
- In the Plugin Basic Options, instead of (+) Full Data, try choosing (-) Brief Data mode top left.
That omits the large Notes produced by Named Lists and typically not needed in other products.
Does that GEDCOM file still cause MyHeritage to hang. - In your main Project use File > Validate to detect any GEDCOM structural errors.
- Similarly, use Tools > Uncategorised Data > Find Uncategorised Data or Tools > Plugins > UDF List to detect UDF.
- Use Tools > External File Links to detect and repair any broken Media links.
- Use Tools > Plugins > Show Project Statistics to find invalid Dates and other potential problems.
