Charts

I would love a fractal chart included in FH. Being able to print 7 generations on an A4 sheet of paper would be great :D

You can print fan charts already in FH and you can use Charting companion for Fractal charts which works with Family Historian Projects of you want that format.

Following on from Klaus Yde's post of 25 August on the subject of Charting Programs, I too would love to see FH include a Fractal Tree as part of the diagram types.

I'm sure if Calico Pie put their mind to it, they could come up with a far better solution than CC.

Charting Companion does not live up to it's hype, and is slow and cumbersone, and their Fractal Tree has trouble formatting text, so that it stays within the box.
Speaking to Progeny about the slowness of CC, their answer was that it was to do with scaleability! To my mind, if CC can't handle a 20,000+ gedcom efficiently, how on earth do they expect it to handle a larger tree any better?
