How do I enter parents who were not married to each other?

Hi
Under the spouse you will find a section labelled "status" this gives you the option to record the relationship.

Yes, enter them exactly the same as you would a married couple.
( Don't worry about the labels such as the Spouse tab. )
The couple will not have a Marriage Event recorded.
Use the Status value to prevent Narrative Reports suggesting they were married.
If you choose Unmarried Couple or Never Married the report will simply say they had a relationship.

Thanks, folks! The answer is so simple that even a dummy like me (a local yokel from the colonies; U.S.A.) can understand it. Family Historian seems to have all of the angles covered; the ones I might use. As a newbie refugee (from another Program) I am liking it.
