On the Sources tab I have 4051 citations linked to a source record (GRO Birth).

When I run the Custom Query More Facts linked to a Source (V4 onwards) for the same source record there is a total of 4050 records in the result set.

How do I find the extra record?

Have you tried the Where Used Record Links plugin?

Checkout how_to:find_links_to_source|> Finding Records linked to a Source.

As it name implies, More Facts Linked to a Source only list Facts (Events & Attributes) that cite the Source.

Source records can also be cited by Name fields, whole Individual/Family records, and much more...

So the List All Citations for a Selected Source Plugin lists all citations for any one selected Source record, and the Where Used Records Links Plugin works for any selection of any type of record.

BTW: What you are seeing listed are not strictly speaking records but are citations and there may be more than one such citation per record where say multiple Facts in one Individual record all cite the same Source record.

Thank you. The Where Used Record Links solved it for me. The problem was actually in the marriage source records.
