Export Gedcom File 3.4 not starting

Post by rfield » 16 Dec 2017 17:39

Hi Mike,

I was using version V. 3.2.7 and recently started to see the All~ABS and All~LMO issue as discussed in this previous thread
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=15095

I had been using All~LMO but had recently changed to ALL~ABS for TNG to get the media change dates.
I decided to upgrade to version 3.4 to see if it would the resolve and startup now fails with the following error. Close to the error seen in the previous thread.

Sorry! It looks like it may be to do with skipping V3.3 and going straight to V3.4.

If you are prepared to adjust your Plugin settings from scratch, then the easiest solution is to delete the saved 'sticky' settings.
i.e.
In the Project .fh_data folder, where the GEDCOM file and Media folder exist, then in the Plugin Data folder delete the Export Gedcom File.dat file.

If not happy to do that, then I may be able to create a temporary version of the Plugin to fix it.

Thanks Mike that got me going. I don't set a lot of settings so I just deleted the .dat file.
I did have another error on the first export attempt but a restart of FH seems to have resolved it.

Thanks again.
Ron
