New computer restoring FH
Hoping someone can help please. I have a new computer. The old computer died. I have a back up of FH 7 June 17. I have installed FH [the lastest V6] onto the new computer. How do I import from the back up file to open up my tree?

Re: New computer restoring FH
The backup should be a zip file.
Open FH and go to File > Backup / Restore and there select Restore from Backup. Follow the prompts.

You will recover your Project as explained by Colin, but unfortunately, you will have lost all your customisations of Diagrams, Reports, Queries, Facts, Plugins, etc, etc.
In future use the Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings Plugin on a regular basis.
