Hallo
Does anybody know why the FMP hints are not allowing the option to either accept or reject them? I just wondered if the FMP website was suffering from an overload because of the latest offer that they are running re. free access to Census returns? Also when using the back to hints button I get the message
Sorry, we couldn't find the page you were looking for.
I am pretty certain it's nothing to do with me as this facility was working ok for me before yesterday when the free access with FMP began!

I have just tried and I can see the documents OK, but the Accept reject option is missing completely. I wonder if FMP are in the process of upgrading something?

Ok Thanks for that. I will contact FMP and see if they have any idea and will post an update if there is any information.

I'm also experiencing the same problem with hints. No accept/reject and have same message 'can't find page you are looking for' when returning to list.

This issue is not just apparent in Family Historian, but also in other software which I have access to which provides FindMyPast Web Hints, i.e. Legacy & RootsMagic, so it would appear most likely to be a temporary website problem rather than desktop software related. Unless, of course, FMP has advised software developers of some critical change(s) that they haven't yet implemented, which seems less likely.
I have lodged a query with FindMyPast and would suggest others do the same to emphasise that it is not an isolated issue.

I wonder if its anything to do with the Free Weekend for BMDs and Censuses and FMP have switched off the "hints" link?

Have just had an initial response from FMP but it only requested screenshots of the 'problem screens', which I've returned.
I also wondered if some change could have been made because of the 'Free Bank Holiday Weekend Access' which might affect the processing of "Hints", but there was no mention of any (known) problems/issues at their end.

I've had the same trouble - I was planning to use this weekend to go through my hints and reject the ones which I can't normally reject because I don't have a world subscription!
I'll also contact FMP

Hints now seem to be back to normal, although I haven't had a reply back from FMP.
