In the dialogue for Tools > Options > Birth settings - method 1 and similarly for Tools > Options > Birth settings - method 2 the top template says Birth Method 1/2 Short Title Template.
But the word Short should NOT appear there.
It is only in these Birth dialogues that it appears, and not in Census/Baptism/Marriage/Death/Burial settings - method 1/2 dialogues, which get it correct.
