Post by jsphillips » 20 Jun 2016 09:59

My check shows that the following applies to www.fhug.org.uk :-
Connection not secure
does not support encryption
does not support ownership info
This site does not supply identity info
I am a little concerned ?

Not sure why you'd expect a secure connection or encryption etc. on a site like this -- it's not as if you're providing financial data or even personal data... And Jane's info is readily available at the bottom of the page or via her profile -- what other ownership/identity info do you expect?

Just to repeat Helen's details, the site does not use HTTPS to do so requires a very expensive hosting and certificate package.

My details are shown at the bottom. As an individual I do not have to include my Home address on domain registrations and have no intention of doing so.
