For those people who wish to use FH without Internet, it would be great to have a small (low resolution) world map in the maps-window.
The grid may be poor. For manually added coordinates a marker should be shown on the map. Marker dragging should work.

Using FH without an Internet connection seriously hampers its features, and few would use it that way.
No Plugin Store downloads and some Plugins won't run
No Map Window maps
No Search the Internet for records
No Internet Data Match hints
No FHUG Forum/KB web site access
No Family Historian web site access
FH only needs to be connected temporarily to download Map Window maps, or as mentioned in MAP Window offline use (12502) the maps cache can be copied from another PC.
