* Places - Deleting all occurrences

Is there a way to delete all occurrences of a specific place name. I do not want to merge. I have a number of erroneous place names in an imported database.

If you truly want to delete the place entirely from your database, then go to the Records Window and select the Places tab. Then find the place name, select it, and hit your delete key. This will remove the place record from the database while leaving any records that used that place name.
