* Deleting sources

Hi, I have a particular baptism source record which has a number of links. I have one link which is not now correct and I would like to delete it. I have clicked on the particular person's source record icon and deleted the citation. However, when looking at "Publish Ancestors by Generation", the baptism is still mentioned. How do I remove the link from the source record? Under the sources tab in the record window this source has 10 links, but I haven't been able to show what these links are.

I think one way would be to go to the individual's fact tab in the property box, highlight the baptism, find the source in the right pane and click on the red x. This would unlink that source from this individual, but would not delete the source itself.

The Plugin "List All Citations for a Source" will do as it suggests, and give you a list of all the places where that Source is used.

The Plugin Where Used Record Links will do a similar job, but instead of just one Source record, it works for any selection of any type of record, c.f. command View > Record Links that is less functional.

When you say the Baptism is still mentioned, do mean it appears within the Individual's narrative saying He was baptised..., or listed under Sources?

Thankyou for your answers. I tried BillH's solution and it worked. Prior to that it still showed as "She was baptised in.....", now it doesn't. but I still seem to have the same number of links to the source record. I must get a plug-in.

Go to the records window, to the Sources tab, and find the source. Select it and then in the toolbar select View > Record Links....

Does the person that you deleted the source from show in the list? If not, are all the other links as expected?
