Is there any way to format text appearing in footnotes? I prefer to follow MHRA style where I can, which calls for titles to be italicised. For example, for a reference to a GRO death certificate held by me I would want to see:
General Register Office, Certified Copy of an Entry of Death: 18 March 1948 Alice May Shankster ([Southport]: General Register Office, 2011) citing Hammersmith 5c (Q1 1948) 62.
I've found a setting to enclose the title in quotes, but I'd prefer italics if that's do-able. Is it possible?

Re: Formatting Source footnotes in Reports
I am afraid that is not currently possible within FH.
However, if you use Save Report As > Word-processor Document (RTF) then the italics can be added manually via any word-processor such as Ms Office Word, OpenOffice Writer, etc.
It might even be possible to perform a global Find & Replace to alter the font style for text enclosed in , "string quotes" ( and remove the quotes at the same time.

Thanks, Mike.
Is there anywhere we can control the arrangement of the text in the individual source footnotes, i.e. the order in which the elements appear and the punctuation between them, or is that hard wired?

Re: Formatting Source footnotes in Reports
I think it is all hardwired, except for the optional quotes you already found.
All the available possibilities are in the Report > Options > Sources tab.
The only other option is to use a word-processor as before.
