Query use of a Custom Fact

Post by NickiP » 31 Aug 2015 18:46

Is it possible to create a query that will show which individual records include a specific Custom Fact please?

I've amended the sentence format for some Custom Facts to use the =GetLabelledText() function and need to revisit and amend where the Custom Facts have been added to specific individual records. Previously I just added the information to either the address field, which I've never used, and/or the note field, with the {address} and {note} amended in the sentence templates. Having had a look at the =GetLabelledText() function, I've found its far more useful than the way I had previously been configuring the sentence templates, but I obviously need to amend the entries that have already been created.

Thanks

Nicola

Yes, the easiest method is to use the existing View > Standard Queries > All Facts option.

Click the Fact column heading in the Result Set to sort into Fact name order.

Then scroll down until you find the Custom Fact and double-click on the Fact Owner cell to open their Property Box and examine the Facts tab.

Thanks Mike, knew there would probably be an easy way. All sorted.
